Giacomo Puccini’s Madama Butterfly is one of the most acclaimed and frequently performed operas internationally. Few operas in the regular repertoire move and surprise the audience like masterrpiece from the early 20th century (1904). Based on the theater drama by David Belasco, its wonderful orchestration and melodic inspiration, realist and simultaneously exotic and extremely passionate, they have made it one of the most tragic and at the same time most penetrating and emotional stories of all time. Two-hour staged version with a 15-minute intermission. Symphony orchestra integrated into the show, solo singers, choir, ballet, period costumes, lighting and unique technical set-up, taking advantage of the very special characteristics of the Palau de la Música Catalana concert hall, Teatre Casino de l’Aliança from Poblenou (Barcelona) or Teatro Coliseum (Madrid). More than 70 artists perfom on stage!
