“Die Zauberflöte” is an opera in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a German libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder, in Singspiel format. It has become one of the most performed operas around the planet, for its originality and popular form that includes both dialogue and singing. It premiered on September 30, 1791 at the Schikaneder Theater (Vienna), just two months before the composer’s untimely death. Staged version of two and a quarter hours with a 15-minute intermission. Symphonic orchestra, solo singers, chorus, dance troupe and figuration, costumes, unique and magical lighting, appropriate to the special characteristics of the fantasy required by the play. More than 60 artists perform on stage!
